Support policy
Zabbix ships LTS releases roughly every two years and standard (non-LTS) releases in between. An LTS release receives three years of full support and five years of limited support in total. A standard release is fully supported only until the next release and receives limited support for about six months after that.
Notes
Zabbix has two release tracks with very different lifetimes. Production deployments should normally use LTS.
An LTS release (6.0, 7.0, …) receives roughly three years of full support and five years of limited support in total. A standard release (7.2, 7.4, …) is fully supported only until the next release, then gets about six months of limited support.
The end of full support for a standard release is defined by an event, not a date. Zabbix publishes "until 8.0 LTS" for 7.4, so the date moves if 8.0 slips. This site leaves that field as "not announced" rather than guessing.
During limited support only critical security fixes are issued — no new operating system support and no improvements. Being "within the support window" does not mean the version will keep up with your environment.
The official lifecycle table lists only currently supported and planned releases. Versions that have already reached end of life (6.2, 6.4 and so on) are removed from the table and therefore cannot be recorded here.
Future dates are published by quarter ("Q3 2026"); this site preserves that precision.
